I started my law enforcement career in January of 1972 and the Newhall shooting was still very much a topic of conversation. I heard the “squad room” version of events and the false stories of saving brass, etc. Thanks for finally setting the record straight. I was a firearms instructor with both agencies I worked for so I was regularly aware of the changing atmosphere in LE training post Newhall. We have come so far since those days.
